That other update keeps getting longer…for now, another brief update…

So I got a call from the Aliyah Center in NYC Yesterday; they had questions about my application. Since Dad lived on a Kibbutz for two years I checked ‘yes, one of my parents lived in Israel on the form. The Assistant to my Shaliach wanted to make sure I wasn’t already a citizen and I had to explain to her that my father was on a Tourist visa which he extended (I’m assuming) and without telling her this, I know I’m not considering that my father married his first wife there not my mother; whom he married a few years later after returning to the U.S.

That said; they have submitted my application to Israel; I’ll find out in two days whether or not it’s accepted…though I have no idea why they wouldn’t accept it.

So I should know by Sunday at the Latest…Meital (the Assistant) said she’d call when she found out.

In other news, it’s time for sleep…the real update will be coming soon…stupid server downtime…

Brief, Brief Update

…there’s a much larger update in progress…you’ve been warned (I’ll also read journals/comment/etc later on today).

Anyway, finished my paper, turned it in, turn in the physical copy in class tonight. I like it, and I really like my ending.

In other news, Today’s to do list includes:

1. Contacting the Aliyah Organization (they called twice yesterday but didn’t leave any messages)
2. Contacting the IDF People
3. Catching up with Mom after she drops off my younger brother at work she’ll call me.
4. Making a doctors appointment for a physical for the Kibbutz Paperwork.
5. Email Christine and catch up.

I also can’t wait to see my Eye Doctor…I swear my script has changed, and I know he keeps saying it hasn’t…but I’m really bad at the 1 or 2 game (wait, no, go back, two, wait, no, go back….maybe one…wait, I’m not sure, two, wait one, no…wait, I have no idea…) so maybe this time we’ll work it out.

And right now, time to get a whole world of sleep in…g’night.

I remember I was at a club a couple of years ago (it was Marcella) and the drag queen went “If you remember the 90s put your hands up in the air!!” and I was like “If you can’t remember them, either you’re not old enough to be here…or you’re on your way out…”

I got into the Tai Chi class at UB! One hour, twice a week, for a semester…I’ve been dying to get into that and the Yoga Class (though they have Drop in Yoga every morning at the Wellness Center I’d rather take one you can advance in and it keeps getting filled before I can register for it)…but I beat the masses to registration! bwhahahaha…ahem…

Anyways, I’m psyched. It’s a couple hours after I TA for Scott, so I’ll be on campus anyway.

I’m currently in the library. I’ve written the conclusion to my paper, now I just need to write the rest of it…which I’ll be able to do as soon as UBLearns comes back online so I can check the requirements…UBLearns was supposed to come back online no later than 4pm and it’s now 6:42…but as soon as that’s done, I can finisht he four or so labs I need to have turned in, get everything turned in tomorrow.

I have a much larger post; but that will happen later tonight (or tomorrow morning).
