Jurgen can eat me.

He made a mistake in his data set for 2.1 when he attempted to represent an accent orthographically instead of phonetically and pass it off as written and the fact that he expects us to stretch our imaginations to the point of absurdity is just pathetic. God, what an asshole. Combative academics? I’ll shove his degree so far up his ass his gums will get paper cuts. This is almost as stupid as the time he presented the researchers paper that purported that everyone in high school was either a jock or burnout and, in the paper, the researcher didn’t even define her god damn variables or define what she was looking for, she just said “success” but what constitutes success? Money? Fame? Prestige? Happiness? bah.

This will be a sleepless night, unfortunately, but it will be productive. I’m spending two or three more hours on this and then I’m doing laundry while reading up for my sociolinguistics mid term tomorrow.
